I am a huge fan of Kim Walker Smith.  I love her voice and her style but most importantly I love how true worship pours out of her.  I had the privilege of seeing her worship lead and speak at a conference about 8 years ago and I was delighted to see that whether she was singing, speaking or just connecting with people who came to the conference, that she was the same person with the same great love for God and His people.  Be it on the stage or off the stage she radiated worship.

I love the heart of this song.  God invites us, He calls us, to draw near.  He invites us to find Him and to find all we need in Him.

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16

Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence. Ephesians 3:12

I am loving this song.  Musicality, like lyric videos, does good things for my heart.  It makes my heart happy.  This ticks all the boxes.  The voice.  The electro stuff.  The orchestra.  Beautiful.

I stand in absolute wonder
When I hear You call my name
I am completely astonished
You wash my sin away

I’ve been saved
The Fathers Love

How Beautiful
How Glorious
How outrageous is your Love

I think conferences like these must be a taste of heaven… a taste of what it will be like to worship with the multitude

Im not sure if this is going to be on the new Elevation Church worship album but I’m liking it.  I love songs that just so lift up Jesus and give Him glory!

I’m so glad that God is like this.  He seeks us, He pursues us.  He never gives up on us.

No matter how we run, no matter how we fall, He is there.

Everything I lost in the garden, I find again in the Father…..

I have a great fondness for this genre of music and love Chris Quilala’s style and sound.  I also love and have great respect for his story and the personal journey of tragedy and triumph his family have faced over the past few years.  Its real.  This is his anthem.

I love Amanda Cook’s sound and style.  I’m not sure if this is a “proper song” or a spontaneous one but I like it.

There’s no space between You and I

You are closer than

The air I’m breathing in

You and I

There is something amazing that happens when we behold God

When we see Him as He is

Awesome

Majestic

Holy

Powerful

Near

Close

The psalmist describes it as mountains melting like wax in the presence of God.  All else fades away said a more modern psalm singer.

Today, do you  need to carve out some time to behold?
