See the future

Within all of us, no matter what age we are, there is that question of “what will I be when I grow up” – that sense of the unknown and uncertainty of what could or could not happen.

Supernatural vision rests in the confidence that God is our loving Father, that we are fearfully and wonderfully created, that all the days of our life are written in his book as Psalm 139 says, that He is good and cares so so so much for us.

We are trusting an unknown future to a known God.  When we are confident in the character and heart of God we can entrust our future days to God.

Heberws 11:8 says By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.

He was called to leave his family, his home, his land, his security to go to a new land that God would show him, on the way.  There was no google maps with a pointer to show the end destination, it was a step by step journey of faith.

We step into our futures with the same supernatural vision that Abram used as he travelled to the unknown destination, secure that God has the destination point in mind.

Time for us is so very linear – we are like the tiny view on google maps that says you are here.  But God can zoom out and see the whole span of our life – our past, our present and our future.
