There is no precedent in my life to suggest that God will let me down. He has amazed me so far. I know God has my future in hand. #trustHim MikeGriffithsNZ

the rhythm of my life is moved and founded upon the faithfulness of God

He anchors me, so no matter how quiet, peaceful and joyous, or how noisy, complicated and stormy my life is – i am His

i function best when i live to His rhythm – when i walk His ways and His will

when i create a rhythm in my life to draw aside and align my heart with His

time in His Word, time in worship, time praying

we need to carve out time to spend with God

He refreshes our heart, gives strength renewed, perspective gleamed

its in that place we get the inspiration, the motivation, the joy to continue on in the rhythms of our life

He is faithful, always

He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:29-31

He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound]. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and [selected] young men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted; But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. Isaiah 40:29-31

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1 NKJV

Five Minute Friday is a feature over at Lisa-Jo Bakers TALES FROM A GYPSY MAMA blog.  i first read about it on my friend Fee’s blog and thought it sounded fun!

So, let’s do this thing. Let’s write.

Set your timer, clear your head, for five minutes of free writing without worrying about getting it right.

1. Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking.
2. Link back here and invite others to join in.

3. And then absolutely, no ifs, ands or buts about it, you need to visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments. Seriously. That is, like, the rule. And the fun. And the heart of this community..

OK, are you ready?
