The Ishmaelites took Joseph to Egypt and sold him to Potiphar, the king’s official in charge of the palace guard.  Genesis 39:1

of all the places joseph could have ended up – he ended up HERE – in a rich mans home, in an officals home, in a man of influences home.  joseph could have been sold to anyone anywhere but God was even in this, directing his path and putting him in relationships with specific people, training him with specific skills.

who is in your life?  who is your boss?  who are your workmates?

who are the people around you?

what are they teaching you?

why has God placed you in their life and they in your life?

what is he teaching you through them?

how is he using them to transform and refine you?

life is not a series of accidents and coincidences – God is Lord of All and in control.  in all things.

be thankful always that the Lord is caring for you!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.   Philippians 4:6-7

When I asked for your help,

you answered my prayer

and gave me courage.

Psalm 138:3

the other night, well acutally i watched by video, so it was day, i got goosebumps watching Australian Idol top 3 contestant Stan Walker sing the chris tomlin version of Amazing Grace.  i commented, as you do, on facebook.  and began a discussion about what God was perhaps saying about so many christians winning American/Australian/New Zealand idol…

one response gave me goosebumps!

“I believe that the Lord is speaking a prophetic message to us Christians. He’s saying that He’s about to raise chosen believers up to a high, enviable level, much like these singers. But instead of being raised up in the natural realm where everything is perishable and seen, He’ll raise these chosen believers up in the spiritual realm where … Read Moreeverything is imperishable and not seen by natural eyes. And in the spirit realm, these chosen believers will have a degree of authority and power to make changes happen in their neighborhoods, cities and nations.”

i like that!

Praying for a move of God to ignite a generation of young people to stand and burn and shine for God, demonstrating His love and grace and real life power and relvancy and reality to those around them…. those that know their God will be strong and do exploits… that God would reveal Himself in realityand glory, and come and  turn our hearts towards Him afresh… let it begin in me… …let it begin NOW! a generation loving God, empowered & pouring our lives our for His glory!  our heart cries out Lord for you to come and move.  We look around at the hurt and brokenness around us and know that you are the only one to give hope and remedy and rescue.  we pray.  we seek you Lord.  we pray.
“be the spark that lights the fire” isaiah 64:2

“Our prayers lay the track down which Gods power can come. Like a mighty locomotive, his power is irresistible, but it cannot reach us without rails.” – Watchman Nee
