i am a sanguine.

i remember doing the personality test for the first time when i was about 19.  everyone else in the group, our youth leadership team, were cholerics or melancholics – aka in my head, leaders and wise thoughtful people. and i was, i AM, a sanguine. popular, funny, fluffy.

i was not impressed.

i took the test again.  same result.

it took me some time, and some convincing, by Jesus, that being a sanguine is awesome.  because its ME!

before i was born HE made me and called me.

i am purposed by Him.

i am designed by Him.

my life has a voice.

and i do ALOT of talking.

i was sharing today with someone how i had really wished i was in the other boxes… until i had got to that point of accepting and embracing who God had made me, and how that was to HIS advantage, and mine.

i am empowered by Him to serve Him.  my personality is a gift for His purpose.

today, embrace who you are.

embrace the voice that God has given you.

YOU are YOU for a reason.

God uses MY voice, my LIFE, to speak to those around me.  I am a voice for His gospel and with my life demonstrate that He is real and good and great.

I want to use my voice to speak life and hope and faith and destiny to those around me.

today, what are you using your voice for?

Five Minute Friday is a feature over at Lisa-Jo Bakers TALES FROM A GYPSY MAMA blog.  i first read about it on my friend Fee’s blog and thought it sounded fun!

1. Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking.
2. Link back here and invite others to join in.
3. And then absolutely, no ifs, ands or buts about it, you need to visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments. Seriously. That is, like, the rule. And the fun. And the heart of this community..

OK, are you ready?
