yay for public holidays… and after everyone but me had had tummy bugs the previous fortnight… okay, and after i had had a major allergic reaction on sunday night… we decided that a family movie was the best remedy… and the only thing on, that wasnt scary or yuck looking, was tinkerbell. my son is ten, but he’s still okay with tinkerbell movies thank goodness. in fact he liked it! so did my hubby lol. extra blessing was that a sweet friend of evangeline’s also was there with her mum so they sat together. she exclaimed to me after “i loved it so much i almost cried” – so did i… was touching and lovely and with enough spunk and their animation is so breathtakingly beautiful. love tinkerbell movies.
thanks to the healthy food guide i made this yummy sweet and sour pork (picture theirs) for dinner last night – from scratch! we usually use a jar but thought, looks easy, looks doable, is gluten free and diary free… lets do it! the kids thought it was amazing too – which means it gets 12 stars out of ten!
love Citipointe’s lastest worship album HIGHER WIDER DEEPER – RAW MOMENTS – it has some of their songs, some what i would call christian classics and all blended in an acoustic mix of rawness and realness. love it! I surrender, Higher+Wider+Deeper, Emmanuel, and I exalt are my current favs on the album.
i read this book in one day last week. it was a “i cant put this book down” type of book. engaging the heart and spirit i finished and then thought YES i can tackle that mountain, and was also asking myself “who am i and what am i doing?” I have this as number 1 on my I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS LIST – and have recommended it to about 5 people already. follow christine caine on twitter and fb too – she’s the real deal. love her passion and perspective!
