last week we celebrated my mother in laws 70th birthday. family from Oz have come over and we had organised a wonderful dinner out with 20 of her friends and ourselves. was a beautiful meal and a great night of flowing conversation. my sister in law with the help of a friend made this amazing cake. blew ann (tony’s mum) away and left her speechless in the nicest way.
evangeline and caleb go to a wednesday afternoon kids club (The Zone) at our church. last week they had a pj day and made these chocolate dipped and sprinkled bananas. wow. amazing. dinner went down fast so they could have pudding that night!!!
we’ve become quite olympic mad in our house, from watching the opening ceremony to tracking our kiwi athletes and waving flags as they compete. our golds have been inspirational (as are ALL the medals and athletes!)
this popped up onto the fb feed the other day and it so resonated with me… so had to share…
and as always. i love Jesus with all i am and all my heart and all my soul and all my days. For His glory and the building of His kingdom and the rescue of the lost.
so what are you totally loving this week?
