When Jesus said ‘Follow Me’ to 12 men, they left everything they knew and followed… not because He promised them success, nor because He assured them they would change the world. They followed Him because who He was (and is)! They followed because they heard the ‘words of eternal life’, and it made their hearts burn within them. They followed not because of where the road would lead them, but rather because of the qualities of the Man they would get to walk that road with! I want to change the world… I want to succeed. But I follow because He is worthy, beautiful, powerful, infinitely superior and unsurpassable in every way! Kristen Williams
my daughter does ballet on thursday afternoons and has the most wonderful ballet teacher – they’re having so much fun learning steps and routines.
excited much that fringe is restarting on tv this week. fringe has been me and my husbands “thing” to watch this year, we rewatched via dvd the previous series to catch up to season 4. love it! not as much as LOST. but still LOVE IT!.
on monday we had our Mainly Music @ The River Mothers Day Celebration – so much fun – such a great opportunity to bless and encourage the mums/grandmas/caregivers that come along. one of our team is uber creative and made a garden of mothers. beautiful.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
once, when i was about 20, i did a word study on the word ALL. i LOVE the word ALL. i love a lot of small words, but of them all, ALL is my most favourite.

i used a concordance and a pen.
i looked up every reference to the word all. there are a lot of them!
some were general – like “all the people went xyz”
some were challenging – like “love the Lord your God with all your heart”
and some were faith building – like “now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us”
and as always. i love Jesus with all i am and all my heart and all my soul and all my days. For His glory and the building of His kingdom and the rescue of the lost.

there is no better thing for me than a monday. its one of my most favourite seven days.
because its that opportunity to walk out into our week, into our real life, into the real world, into our workplace, the things that God is doing and has done and will do in and through us
its an opportunity to overflow what i learned and was inspired by on sunday into the real people in my life
be it the workplace
at home with my family
with my friends
THIS IS MINISTRY
this is real life, this is the real world
sunday fills me for the purpose of spilling that out and demonstrating that God is real and loving and awesome
