i love Sound of A Soft Breath on facebook. its a great devotional community – with quotes and bible verses and songs and “stuff” going up each day. its awesome when someone responds, with a like or a comment, esp those that say “that was just what i needed to hear.” that so blesses my heart. i love how God speaks. i love how He can pop something up on our wall feed, or into our inbox, that is just the right thing that we need to hear, that refixes our heart with hope and grace again, that encourages us and gives us courage. i love how His Word is active and alive and that He knows us so well.
Every promise God has ever made finds its fulfillment in Jesus. God doesn’t just give us grace, He gives us Jesus, the Lord of grace. If it’s peace; it’s only found in Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Even life itself is found in the Resurrection and the Life. Christianity isn’t all that complicated… it’s Jesus. ~ Joni Eareckson Tada
Your heart may have been badly broken, but Jesus is right now holding you, healing your wounds, restoring you and putting courage, peace and joy into your heart. Jesus makes everything beautiful in your life. ~ Joseph Prince
Rest assured God isn’t trying to hide from us. He is waiting to be seen by us. “Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jer. 29:12-13) ~ Lysa TerKeurst
evangeline went rock climbing for the first time the other day – this venue is a fantastic rockclimbing “gym” in panmure – great for climbers of all ages and stages! she had a brilliant time, it was a friends birthday party. she was hesitant at first but by the end she was stretching and reaching like a pro! i love seeing my kids be adventurous and trying new things!
i confess i would be a terrible dieter because i have a deep affection for home made wedges. the spicier the better. kumera and pumpkin too. nothing better on a hot day with salad and bbq or on a cold winters day with a chunk of something.
i have a real passion for seeing people stepping out and living what (and who) God has called them to be – it totally makes my day to see people doing new things and embarking on adventures and taking on new roles that will launch them out moreso into their destiny. as a young adults housegroup leader i have the great priv of being part of the process sometimes. for example this week we’re continuing our topic RELATE (we’ve looked at romantic relationships and difficult people) and some of our peeps are talking about how to RELATE to God – prayer, worship, the bible etc. for some of them even talking in our housegroup is a huge deal. so inwardly i am doing a happy dance, because i know they’re stepping out, using their gifts, using their story, and that is awesome. that’s a good night for me.
your love never fails is off the jesus culture cd of the same name. we’ve just started singing it at church and i am SO GLAD! the song is an amazing anthem to the lavish love of God and how He is good and is at work in our lives! there is just “something” about this song (you know what i mean) that gets into the heart and spirit – its a good ear worm to have!
and as always. i love Jesus with all i am and all my heart and all my soul and all my days. For His glory and the building of His kingdom and the rescue of the lost.
so what are you totally loving this week?
… check out what other peeps are loving whatever day of the week it is over at Paisley Jade

We just started singing “Your Love Never Fails” at our church too! And you’re right: something about it. It’s one of those that finds its way deep into your heart. LOVE it! Thanks for posting it. I’ve had it on repeat…

very much so – i love how God does that – its like He stamps “something” (okay, HIMSELF) into the song and then attaches that into our heart! its been around for ages, its on one of the first Jesus Culture cds, but i think its having a moment now, which i love, i think God is so talking about His Love to us, His kids, more and more…
