168. my first morning down at church praying and reading the Word and just spending time with God and some awesome people – it runs on a monday and i have been longing to go for a few years now but have had other committments which i have stepped back from so now i am free to go… sigh, my soul is happy.

171. communion – and being a part of giving out communion at church on sunday – so perhaps more community at communion time. i am so blessed to be part of a great church who really love each other and though communion is a holy reminding special time, can come forward and hug before recieving the bread and juice (instead of wine)

173. the blessed privaledge of praying for two young teens who came to church the first time sunday night because their neighbours invited them and because God is drawing them to himself – oh i love their questions and misconceptions and the light in their eye as they discover who God is and his great love for them.
174. the kisses of a happy older man, who is the neighbour of the young teens – who rejoiced with me that they are wanting to find out more about God and allowed me to pray for them – he was so funny!

178. a term planned out for housegroup – i like to be planned – we have some regular monthly “things” like bible night, where we just open the bible at a prechosen place (by me) and talk about what we like, what challenges us, what we learn about God etc, and like dessert nights once a term and worship night once a term….

182. hard rubbish day! this is when we throw our inorganic rubbish out – so like broken furniture, old stuff etc out – it was soething i was totally unfamiliar with but is something our local council does – so yay for them – so a week before we collect up all our broken stuff (washing baskets, buckets, caleb’s old bike, missing a wheel and handle bars) – it is great. but the street looks so messy! its kind of an odd thing to be grateful for i guess, but it gets rid of the junk so that is all good!
