notes on devotions teaching tonight: how/why & inspiration to have a personal devotion

For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 1 corinthains 2:2

- personal devotions – and personal relationship is the outworking of 1 corinthians 2:2 – it is the day by day outworking of relationship building and connection with God

1. have a PLAN

- why have a plan?  its “easy”,  gives you direction, achieveable, note: doesnt remove the element of REVELATION

2. nike principal – JUST DO IT!  make a time, make it a priority, make it a habbit

3.  pray – ask God to REVEAL himself

remember: Hebrews 11:6 God rewards those who diligently seek him

remember: Daniel 11:32 the people that KNOW their God will be STRONG and do EXPLOITS
