2Chronicles 7:14 If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

We are the people of God. We are Christians, known by the name of Jesus. We need to pray, and ask God to come down and pour His Spirit out to turn the hearts of people towards Himself, to open their blind eyes, to set the captives free. We as the people of God need to humble ourselves, repent, and seek God. We need to be in right relationship with our God, so He gets ALL the glory and so He can move.

Why do we need to turn from our sinful ways, so we are surrendered vessels, declaring that we must decrease so He increases, surrendering to His ways and will. We need to turn from our sinful ways so that people will see our good works and honour our Father.

We need His wisdom and power and that is only given in might to a surrendered person, in my opinion.

Yes, God uses broken clay pots to store and display his great treasure, and no man or woman can be considered holy, but i feel that holiness comes only at the foot of the cross, only as we say Yes Lord, here am I.

God in his grace and infinate mercy uses us – flesh, to display His glory. Despite our frailty and the pull of sinfulflesh (as Paul describes it) God uses us.

Now I am sure there are those that will debate the whole thing that now we are saved we are no longer under sin and its dominion, yet we still, if honest, do sin, though we do strive to obey and abide in God. I say strive because it is a highest goal for me to be more pleasing to God, to be led by the Spirit of God and to be holy, as Jesus is holy and as Jesus lived His life on earth. I hope “ya get my heart” and know there is no condemnation in Christ and that His Spirit in us makes us victorious over sin, which was put to death on the cross with Christ, and unless I allow it has no power over me. I submit myself to Jesus :o )

So pray. Seek God. Humble ourself at the cross. Let Jesus work in us more and more to purify us. Be a vessel for the glory of God
